Football club community trust management
One of the most important functions of a football club is the work it puts into the local community by using the power of football and sport to inspire young people to reach their potential and create lasting impact.
This workshop is designed to enhance the day-to-day workings of those that work as Heads of Community/ Foundations in football clubs.

Focus: Connecting meaningfully with diverse communities
- Trust-building and cultural competence
- Engaging priority groups (youth, women, ethnic minorities, disabled)
- Principles of inclusive programme design to boost participation
- Community champions and peer-led outreach
Focus: Protecting participants, staff, and your organisation
- Legal and ethical responsibilities
- FA/Premier League safeguarding protocols
- Case studies and incident response
- Embedding safeguarding culture in delivery
Focus: Proving and improving community impact and storytelling
- Introduction to monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
- Developing KPIs and impact indicators, using data to adapt and improve
- Advocating for community through Media, social media, and club communications

Students will receive certification issued by the PFA Business School in Football Club Community Trust Management.
Fees & Grants
The programme admission fee is £2,000 +VAT. Current and former PFA Members can apply for a grant of £2,000 +VAT to enrol in the programme at a lower cost.
